Who we are in Christ, who He is in us, and who we are becoming because of Him.
We're growing a like-minded community with a culture focused on Jesus, safety & authenticity. This is rare & priceless when facing this crazy world. It's essential to growth, to staying the course, & to receiving encouragement to stand firm when facing the storms.
The Power of Mums is cultivating the ground for a movement of mothers spreading a message of hope in a hopeless world by simply and naturally planting seeds of faith and truth in our children's lives.
My Greatest Loves
As a multi-passionate person there are many things I love in life, many roles I'd love to fulfill, and many lives I'd love to live, yet there are 3 that bring me the greatest joy, purpose and fulfillment.
Growing in my understanding and love of God and His Word through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Loving, living, traveling and serving alongside my husband.
Being a mother.
I can become completely lost to the world in each one of those roles alone, and yet for many years God has been patiently asking me to take a step of obedience into another role that has been scary and overwhelming because I've had my eyes on me.
Through His grace and mercy, He has gently lifted my eyes to Him .... and to you, my fellow Christ-follower and friend !
When He Calls!
He had already given me a heart of compassion for mums, especially those who desire to live with devotion towards Him and their families.
I've even taught, mentored, led Bible studies and had opportunity to encourage many mums one on one. Yet "enlarging that tent" was stepping out of my comfort zone and, like many of us, I had a million reasons why I couldn't or shouldn't. However, my hiding was not comfortable and God is persistent because His heart is that none should perish.
He does not need us, but He is gracious enough to invite us and use us for His good and His glory.
Hi, I'm Karen Trezona ! Wondering Who Am I & What Do I Do?
I'm an "Ausmerican"! That's my term for an Australian born citizen who lived in America for 13.5 years and gained dual citizenship as an American. As a result of a cross-the-world call, we have family on both sides of the world and in different hemispheres.
I've been a classroom teacher, a teacher trainer, a business owner, a farmer, a marketer, a missionary and a pastors wife. I've raised five beautiful girls, gained five wonderful son-in-laws, and am loving my growing grandmother role with a gaggle of gorgeous grandchildren, (currently 7)! Honestly ... it's the best!
The desire God has laid on my heart and called me to, is to see Christian mothers live and parent with confidence, rooted in the truth of who they are in Christ and in the freedom of who He is in them.
We see a desperate need for Biblical leadership in our current world that is overloaded with information that sets itself up against God. Praise God, He is raising them up ... but the harvest is plentiful and the labourers are few.
The Desire For Growth
There are so many mums, like you, who are hungry for spiritual and personal growth, to go deeper with God and His word, and also to raise children who love and know Jesus.
As mothers who want to do out best, sometimes the demands, expectations, mixed messages, and mixed up media can bring uncertainty - about God, about ourselves, about our children, and about their future. Many mothers are searching for clarity, strength, and hope in the midst of everyday challenges.
The Vision For Christian Mothers
The Power of Mums - was born from slow steps of obedience to offer a safe place of growth, hope and community for God's glory so that He may be seen in and through a movement of mothers seeking after Him and pointing their kids to Jesus.
Through mentoring, workshops, teaching and community, we'll journey together as mothers, discovering God's heart for us, to embrace out identity in Christ, and to step into Christ's freedom as we raise our children and continue to be parents and grandparents.
My heart truly is to see mums thriving - growing spiritually and personally, building strong family lives, raising joy-filled children, and living with a renewed vision for the future and eternity - all from the unshakable foundation of God's word and His presence.
Being spread across the world, it is a rare treat to get our family all together. Since this photo, it has expanded to 2 more son-in-laws and 3 more grandchildren and a grand-daughter in love.

If Only You Knew!
I'm far from your picture perfect Christian mother who had everyone dressed to match, did devotions every morning, had our house in order and always kept a calm, peaceful demeanor.
Growing up in the outback of Australia with red dirt, dangerous animals, and a "Crocodile Dundee" type father, (Oh the stories I could tell!) didn't quite set me up for politeness and polish!
Thankfully, it's God who has our plan and creates our purpose. When I look back, I see His hand on my life even when I didn't know Him.
He's wrestled with my wild, willful and prideful heart and brought about the supernatural change that only He can. And I promise you, He's still got a long way to go before I'm more like Jesus.
Yet for some reason beyond my understanding, He's given me a wonderful life, full of adventure and opportunity, and most importantly, a tender heart towards Him.
His faithfulness, even in my unfaithfulness is unfathomable to me ... and yet He calls, He invites and He uses even me!
I want you to know Him, to experience Him, and to love Him in this way. It will change your life!

Yes! I wholeheartedly believe that God and His word are free and therefore I want to share a great deal of value freely. However, in order for me to have the time to invest in this ministry, and for our financial needs to live and to sustain the costs of business such as platforms and fellow staff, there are low cost charges for various options.
As this was one of the many wrestles I had with God during this process, He graciously led me to 1 Corinthians 9 to settle my argument and to let go of other work so that I could focus on this.
1 Cor 9:14 "Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel."
